| #1 | Does anyone know how many gallons get used per dog wash? I'm looking at a location that is on a well and the plumber and I are currently trying to calculate if this well will beable to provide enough water for this facility (4-5 tubes)
Also does anyone know the water usage difference in using a sprayer unit to a Bath System ie Bath Master or Quadrabathe
Any input would be appreciated

| #2 | Judy,
The amount of water used varies a lot, and I don't think anyone has done a study to try to figure averages (which would be difficult to do).
Mixing systems such as the Bath Master and Quadrabathe generally need a minimum of 4GPM to operate correctly. In regard to standard spray units, we carry both 4GPM and low-flow 1.4GPM units.

| #4 | Hey Judy,
That is hard to say because every dog has different hair and "dirty" level.
Just for fun I took last months water usage and divided by washes and I got 37gal/dog.
We use garden sprayers that are 2gal/min. Since they have the handle the water is turned off and on to hopefully save water.
Also remember you will use a lot of water doing laundry, making shampoo, washing bottle and brushes, and making mop water. Also if you have a public restroom that will use a good amount of water.

| #5 | we've been open 2 1/2 years, and with hydrosurge, "average" baths are 35-50 gallons, with an approx. 4gpm flow. It can vary a lot by the user, the dog's dirt level, the seaosn, lots of variables. If I had to use an avg., I'd go with approx. 40. |
